Often self-referential, Jordan Brand consistently uses the Air Jordan 1 as a vehicle for homage, applying colorways reminiscent of 1985-born OGs or somewhat obscure icons introduced further down the road. And while the High aims for an approach true to form, the Air Jordan 1 Mid is often more experimental as it takes more modern staples such as the “Crimson Tint” and tweaks the color blocking to a point only barely recognizable.
